Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
1. Educational Qualifications
- Essential: Graduation from any recognized University.
. Physical & Medical Qualifications
- Height: At least 157 cm (150 cm for SC/ST candidates).
- Eye Sight: Must possess certified visual standards without glasses:
- Distant Vision: Right Eye 6/6 Snellen, Left Eye 6/6 Snellen.
- Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes.
- Other Eye Norms: Full field of vision in each eye. Colour blindness, squint, or morbid conditions of the eyes/lids are disqualifications.
- General Physical Health: Must be free from apparent physical defects such as knock-knees, flat feet, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular/protruding teeth, and defective speech or hearing.
3. Physical Efficiency Test Standards
Candidates must qualify in at least five (5) events out of the following physical standards:
- 100 Meters Run: 17 Seconds
- High Jump: 1.06 meters
- Long Jump: 3.05 meters
- Putting the Shot (4 Kg): 4.88 meters
- 00 Meters Run: 36 seconds
- Throwing the Throw Ball: 14 meters
- Shuttle Race (4 $\times$ 25 m): 26 seconds
- Skipping (One minute): 80 times
4. Desirable Qualifications
- SPC / NCC Certificate.
- Achievements in Sports/Games at District, University, State, or National levels.
5. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)
- Maximum Age: Should not exceed 40 years as on 01.01.2026.
- Age Relaxations: SC, ST, and OBC candidates are eligible for age relaxations as per government rules.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Ensuring campus security, patrolling designated zones, monitoring entry/exit points, and maintaining law and order.
- Assisting university authorities in event management, visitor screening, and safeguarding institutional property.
Selection Process
- Physical Fitness Test: Candidates must undergo the physical efficiency test on the designated date. Only those who qualify the physical test will be permitted to attend the interview.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the physical test will appear for a face-to-face interview.
- Document Verification: Verification of original certificates proving name, age, community, qualifications, and submission of the mandatory Medical Certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
