Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
1. PGT (Post Graduate Teacher)
- Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject as a regular course with at least 55% marks from a recognized university/institution; AND Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent regular degree recognized by Govt. of India/UGC/AICTE/NCTE with at least 50% marks.
- Subject Requirement: Studied the requisite subject at both Senior Secondary and Graduation levels.
- Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2027.
2. TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher)
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject as a regular course with at least 55% marks; AND Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent regular degree recognized by Govt. of India/UGC/AICTE/NCTE with at least 50% marks.
- Subject Requirement: Studied the relevant subject at Senior Secondary level as well.
- Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2027.
3. PRT (Primary Teacher – General / Hindi / Art / Physical Education)
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree as a regular course from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks aggregate AND B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. or equivalent regular course with at least 50% marks; OR Senior Secondary (Class XII or equivalent) from a recognized board with minimum 55% marks aggregate AND 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks.
- Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2027.
4. PRT (Special Educator)
- Essential Qualifications: Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education) OR B.Ed. with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education OR Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education with at least 50% marks; OR Equivalent qualification approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with at least 50% marks.
- Registration: Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2027.
5. Librarian & Assistant Librarian
- Librarian: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a 1-year regular Diploma in Library Science with minimum 55% marks aggregate.
- Assistant Librarian: 10+2 with a 1-year regular Diploma in Library Science with minimum 55% marks aggregate.
- Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2027.
6. Academic / School Counsellor (Male)
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Psychology/Child Development with a 1-year Certificate/Diploma in Counselling; OR Graduate/Post Graduate with a Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling from recognized bodies like NCERT or IGNOU; OR Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from NCERT/IGNOU.
- Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2027.
7. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent qualification in Armed Forces) with adequate knowledge of clerical duties; typing speed of 40 WPM and ability to correspond independently in English; 3 years of office work experience; and computer proficiency in MS Office/Office Automation/ERP Software.
- Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2027 (Ex-Servicemen allowed maximum upper age limit up to 55 years).
8. Support Staff (MTS / Safaiwala)
- Essential Qualifications: Pass in Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognized Board; ability to communicate effectively with good personality and communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Age Limit: 21 to 35 years as on 01 July 2027.
Selection Process
- Screening & Shortlisting: Preliminary screening based on essential qualifications, age criteria, and documents provided in online applications. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for testing.
- Stages of Selection: Includes an OMR-based Written Test, followed by a Skill Test / Class Demonstration, and a personal Interview (depending on the post).
- Venue: All selection processes will be conducted exclusively at Navy Children School, Naval Base, Kochi, Kerala. No TA/DA will be paid.
