Educational Qualification & Experience
- Driver: Must have passed Class 9. Must hold a motor vehicle licence for 7 years, including a valid heavy motor vehicle licence for at least 3 years (ex-servicemen who obtained a heavy licence in the forces are exempt from the experience rule).
- Conductor: Must have passed Class 10 (SSLC) from a recognized board. Must possess a valid conductor licence under the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 (candidates without one during selection must produce it within one month of appointment).
- Driver-cum-Conductor: Must have passed Class 10 (SSLC) and possess a valid heavy driving licence under the MV Act 1988.
