Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• Essential Education: Graduation or Post-Graduation in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, English Literature, or a related discipline.
• Work Experience: Minimum three (03) years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications, media organizations, or a PR agency.
• Key Proficiencies: Demonstrated experience in news publications, media relations, content writing, social media management, and institutional/corporate communications.

Job Role & Key Responsibilities

• Public Relations & Media Management: Draft and disseminate press releases, media briefs, and responses; coordinate media interactions, interviews, press conferences, and editorial opportunities; monitor media coverage and maintain databases.
• Content Development: Write, edit, and proofread articles, newsletters, website content, and event briefs; develop stories highlighting institutional achievements, research, and events.
• Digital & Social Media: Draft and publish content for the organization’s website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X); support digital communication campaigns and track performance.
• Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate communication activities for institutional events and maintain systematic records of media outputs.

Selection Process
