Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Educational & Technical Qualifications

• Plus Two or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma in Electronics awarded by an institution recognized by the Government.
• Experience: Minimum six months experience as a Telephone Operator / Receptionist and in Computer Operation.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Age Limit

• Date of Birth Range: Candidates must have been born between 02/01/1981 and 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive).
• Age Relaxations: Relaxations applicable for Ex-servicemen, differently-abled candidates, and widows as per Kerala Government and High Court rules.

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Operating telephone switchboard systems, attending to incoming/outgoing calls, and routing inquiries for the High Court of Kerala.
• Greeting visitors, handling reception duties professionally, and assisting with official communication and computer-based office tasks.

Selection Process

1. Written Test (if conducted): Objective type test consisting of 100 questions (75 minutes, total 100 marks) covering:
   • Diploma in Electronics syllabus: 50 marks
   • General Knowledge / Current Affairs: 30 marks
   • Proficiency in English Language: 20 marks
   • Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deducted for every incorrect answer.
2. Interview: Carrying 10 marks (Minimum 35% marks required to be secured in the interview for inclusion in the ranked list).
3. Document Verification: Verification of original certificates, experience proofs, and community status.
