Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree: Full-Time Regular Course in B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) / IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) from a recognized University/Institute in Electrical / Electrical (Power) / Electrical and Electronics / Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical) disciplines with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA. Pass marks apply for SC/ST/PwBD categories.
  • Note: The undergraduate degree must be completed on or before the closing date of the application window (6 November 2026). Candidates awaiting final undergraduate results are not eligible.
• Postgraduate Candidates: Full-time regular M.Tech. / MSR / M.E. in Power Systems or a closely related specialisation (final semester students are also eligible to apply).
• Ph.D. Candidates: Ph.D. in Power Systems or a closely related specialisation. Ph.D. research scholars pursuing their degree are also eligible to apply (must provide a “No Objection Certificate” from their college/university).

Age Limit (As on 6 November 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 32 years (Relaxations for reserved categories as per Government of India directives).

Selection Process
