Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications & Age Limit

  • ITI Trades: Pass in Xth standard + ITI (National Trade Certificate – NTC) in the respective trade.

  • SSLC: Pass in Xth standard.

  • HSE / ITI: Pass in XIIth standard or ITI (NTC).

  • Diploma: Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline granted by a State Board/University/recognized institution.

  • Graduation: Graduation in non-performing arts disciplines (BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, etc.).

  • Post Graduation: MA Hindi or MA Hindi with Translation.

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years of age.

Ineligibility Criteria

Candidates meeting any of the following conditions are not eligible to apply:

  1. Graduates/Postgraduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITs, and IISc.

  2. Holders of professional degrees such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MBA (or equivalent), MPhil, and PhD.

  3. Those currently undergoing any skill, apprenticeship, internship, or training program under Central or State Government schemes.

  4. Those who have previously completed training under NATS or NAPS.

  5. Candidates whose family member’s annual income exceeds Rs. 12 Lakh in the preceding financial year.

  6. Candidates where any member of the family is a permanent/regular government employee.

Selection Process

  1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination prescribed for the respective trade/discipline. Ties will be resolved using age seniority.

  2. Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates will receive an offer through the PMIS portal and must appear for original certificate verification (age, qualification, caste, disability).

  3. Medical Fitness: Final induction is subject to medical fitness.
