Steel and industrial forgings ltd  owned by kerala Government has published a notification for the recruitment of post of 39 fitter, welder ,machinist and various other  vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply prescribed application format on or before 31.03.2018.

Educational qualification:

• Fitter: .SSLC, ITI (FITTER),. Completion of Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the relevant trade with ability to read and write in Malayalam and English, Good physique and capable of doing all kinds of work assigned
• Forger&Heat treater:SSLC, ITI (F & HT), Completion of Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the relevant trade with ability to read and write in Malayalam and English,  Good physique and capable of all kinds of work assigned.
• Machinist:SSLC, ITI (Machinist), Completion of Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the relevant trade with ability to read and write in Malayalam and English, Good physique and capable of doing all kinds of work assigned
• Welder: SSLC, . ITI (Welder), Completion of Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the relevant trade with ability to read and write in Malayalam and English, Good physique and capable of doing all kinds of work assigned.
• Draughtsman (Mechanical): SSLC, ITI (Draughtsman- MECHANICAL),. Completion of Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the relevant trade, Good physique and capable of perform work assigned
• Unskilled Worker Trainees: Studied up to VIII Std. with ability to read and write in Malayalam. Any qualification higher than 10th Std. will not be considered. Good Physique and capable of doing all kinds of work assigned

What is the Age limit?

Maximum age limit for the above post is 41 years as on 01.01.2017 with Usual Relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

Application fee:

• The fee for general category : Rs.500/- and fee for SC/ST : Rs.250/-.
• Fee to be paid by DD drawn in favour of Steel And Industrial Forgings Ltd. Payable at Thrissur along with the application.
