Educational qualification & experience:
- Engineer mate: tenth class or equivalent,holder of engine driver of fishing vessal certificate,5 year of sea experience
- Senior deck hand: Eight standard pass, 5 year service on sea going vessel and 2 year experience in helmsman & seaman ship work
- Sukhani: : Eight standard pass,7 year service on sea going vessel and 2 year experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails
- Tradesman: tenth class or equivalent, ITI certificate in mechanic/diseal/turner/electrical/instrumental/carpentary2 year experience in engineering/automobile/ship repaire organization
- Seaman: tenth standard or equivalent, 3 year service on sea going vessel and 2 year experience in helmsman & seaman ship work
- Greaser: tenth standard or equivalent, 3 year service on sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance
- Tindal: : tenth standard pass,10 year service on sea going vessel with 5 year experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails
What is the Age limit?
- Engineer mate:18-30 years
- Senior deck hand:18-30 years
- Sukhani:18-30 years
- Tradesman:18-25 years
- Seaman:18-25 years
- Greaser :18-25 years
- Tindal:18-35 years
Age limit as on 28/02/2018, age relaxation as per govt rules and regulation
Pay scale:
- Rs 5200/- to 20200/-
