Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech or M.Sc in Computer Science in the strictly notified Engineering streams.
- Final Year Students: Candidates studying in the final year of their Engineering degree are also eligible to apply. However, they must submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination with all mark sheets by 01 July 2027 and ensure their cumulative percentage is not below the approved cut-off.
- Degrees obtained from foreign countries or via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not permitted.
Age Limit
- Age Range: 20 to 27 years as on 01 July 2027.
- Date of Birth Requirement: Candidates must be born not earlier than 01 July 2000 and not later than 30 June 2007.
Mandatory Requirements
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
- Candidates must meet minimum physical standards prior to joining the academy, including a 2.4 Km run in 10 minutes 30 seconds, 40 push-ups, 6 pull-ups, 30 sit-ups, and swimming fundamentals.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting of Applications: Applications will be shortlisted based on the cumulative percentage of marks up to the final semester/year. The cut-off will be applied stream-wise.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage Service Selection Board (SSB) interview (maximum 5 days) at centers in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a rigorous medical examination.
- Joining PCTA: Medically fit candidates will be issued joining letters based on the final order of merit and available vacancies.
