Indian navy has released recruitment notification for unmarried male candidates for enrollment as Sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) & Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) for 2700 vacancies (Approximately) in the Feb 2020 batch.Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website on or before 10-07-2019.

• Sailors Artificer Apprentice (AA):500
• Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR):2200

Educational qualification:

• Sailors Artificer Apprentice (AA):Qualified in 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths& Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
• Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR):Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths& Physics and atleast one of these subjects: – Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India

What is the age limit?

• Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 2000 to 31 Jan 2003

Pay scale:

• During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month
• After completion of initial trainingLevel 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix Rs 21,700-69,100/- plus other allowance

Selection process:

Selection will be made on the basis of

• Computer based Examination
• Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
• Medical Examinations
