Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB)has released a recruitment notification for the vacancies of Project Trainee and Web Programmer (PHP/Python) in a DST (Inspire) project in the Computational Biology Laboratory of Dr. Shijulal Nelson-Sathi at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology on contract basis. Educational qualification:
- Project Trainee: Candiate must have B.Tech or Masters Degree in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology, Biotechnology or Biomedical Sciences.
- Web Programmer (PHP/Python) : Candidate must have B.Tech or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related subjects with minimum of one year experience in web programming (PHP/MySql). PHP certification with demonstrable skills in web programming.
What is the age limit?
- Below 28 years as on 30thNovember, 2018.
Age relaxation as per Govt rules and regulation will be provided.
Emoluments:
- Project Trainee: 8000+ per month
- Web Programmer (PHP/Python) : 12,000/- + 16% HRA per month.
Selection process:
Suitably qualified candidates may send applications in the prescribed format with a photograph, a copy of full resume indicating the percentage of Marks obtained and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the undersigned on or before 30th November, 2018. Envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. In the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed by screening the applications, a written test will be conducted before the selection interview and only those who are successful in the written test will be interviewed.
No TA/DA/Other emoluments will be given for appearing in the written test/interview.
